About PCHC

APPOINTMENTS & WALK-IN PATIENT VISITS

Patients are encouraged to make appointments for medical and dental services. Having an appointment enables us to have your medical chart available at the time of your visit, allows the clinician to review clinical laboratory information, prior to your visit, and gives the staff an opportunity to properly schedule your visit.

Walk-in patients will be seen, but they may experience longer waits, since patients with appointments will be seen first, unless a walking patient is experiencing a medical emergency.

Arriving at least a one half hour prior to your appointment time is encouraged, so that your medical and financial information may be updated. If you have a medical emergency, you are encouraged to call the health center in advance to alert the medical staff of your needs.

Every effort will be made to see patients with appointments within 15 to 30 minutes of the appointment time. However, medical and dental emergencies, difficult medical cases, and complicated procedures, can cause delays.

Appointment Cancellation

It is important that you call to cancel an appointment if you are unable to keep it. In order to schedule appointments properly, we encourage patients to notify us at least 24 hours in advance if they find that they are unable to keep a scheduled appointment. Any advance notice of a cancellation will be helpful.
